Thomas Callahan is a lens-based artist with a focus on memory, landscape, and queer life. Callahan utilizes abstraction in his work to evoke the subjectivity of human experience while embracing nuance and mystery. Callahan earned his BFA in Integrated Lens-Based Media from Montana State University and his MFA in Studio Art from the University of Notre Dame. Callahan resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He has exhibited photography and video works internationally.
