Thomas Callahan is a lens-based artist with a focus on memory, landscape, and queer life. Callahan utilizes abstraction in his work to evoke the subjectivity of human experience while embracing nuance and mystery. He resides in South Bend, Indiana where he is an MFA candidate and instructor of record at the University of Notre Dame. Callahan earned his BFA in Integrated Lens-Based Media from Montana State University and has exhibited photography and video works internationally.
